.net doesnt work on vista desktop

My Vista doesn't run .net for some reason.. I try to download stuff such as Curse Client but my .net runtime doesnt work so it doesnt open, help me please!

Hi

What version of .dotnet are you trying to install?
And what have you tried so far?

Usually you uninstall all .net software
Reboot
And try again
If that does not work Google the error messages you get
