Hi,

I recently purchased Net Front for PPC 2002 from Handango, but 2 days later
decided to UPG to WM 2003, would that copy of Net Front work on WM 2003 or
do I have to buy Net Front for 2003?

Oh- you do list one application you have. Why not do a little research for
your application- go to the website for the writers and look.

No, sadly you need the 2003 version. The 2002 version doesn't work- I've tried.

If you bought Netfront 3.0 or 3.1 there is no need for an upgrade as both
will work with Windows Mobile 2003.

Sorry, but it read that 'Yes' was the answer to *both* options in the
question 'would that copy of Net Front work on WM 2003 or do I have to buy
Net Front for 2003?'
(you have to buy the new version but the old version worked).

I don't think so... At least not according to Access, the creators of
NetFront. The sell different versions for 2002 and 2003. When I
tried to run my copy NF 3.0 for '02 on my recently upgraded (to
WM2003) Dell Axim X5, the title bar displayed "NetFront" for a second
or two then the app closed.

Access will sell you the '03 version for about $15 if you already own
the '02 version, however. (They'll e-mail you a discount code good at
Handango.)

I'm still using the '03 trial version. I find pIE is so vastly
improved in '03 that I haven't decided if I really need NetFront
anymore. So many websites didn't work in pIE '02 that NF was a
necessity.
