Netflix and Samsung TV issue

Im trying to open the netflix app on my samsung TV, but I keep receiving the error code nw-8-17 nothing seems to be working...
 
Hi Both,

its only started happening recently, I've tried the troubleshooting and followed all of the steps, my TV is connected to the internet but nothing seems to be working. Netflix loads on my laptop, but not on the TV.

I have reset my smart hub on the TV now all of the apps are greys out and i can't select any of them.
 
LOL. Always a good thing to check, is their server down? if so, nothing to do other than find something else to occupy your time like when the power goes out.
 


How is your TV connected.. wired or wireless?
How do you know it's 'connected to the internet'?
Have you tried resetting your router?
 
I think there is a speed test available in Netflix on Samsung tvs
also run the speed test on your pc
NOTE: expect slower readings on Samsung tv, they do NOT use gigabit ethernet!🙁
