lol the lengths some companies will go to create hype for their product is amazing. Netflix's attempt to create hype = fail

They don't need to pay people, netflix and netflix streaming is good enough to stand on it's own without that bullcrap.

Somehow, somebody who makes probably 4Xs what I make, came up with the brilliant idea of a 'fake public' to feed the real media...and his/her plan was approved, written on cards, and executed...wow.

Offer the same content the Americans get, rather than roughly half the content, and then you might see some real excitement. As it is, Netflix in Canada = fail.

To be fair, I signed up immediately as they provide one month free trial and really a good subscription fee for what I got. I don't have cable/satellite TV, only internet access. And long have I been waiting for such a service to be available in Canada. I don't really have that much time and the content on there are already plenty for my family. My 3-year old girl can also enjoy those kids tv shows they have. Family like ours may be rare but it counts, right? Those nay sayers, give me an alternative choice please.

On the contrary, it is the most sanitary means of entertainment out there. They stick a needle into your brain's pleasure center and pump in boil-the-skin-off-your-bones-hot steam while you play Half Life 2.

Really, you should try it.

I'm not being paid by Osama Bin Laden, what are you talking about?

What's the problem ? Everyone is doing it all the time. Companies, politicians, etc. Life is a big theater and acting is just part of it :p

I'll gladly pay for you Netflix Canada, as soon as you recognize my piece of plastic as a fully functional card and stop turning me away for some reason...
