My roommate and I just noticed we have a spare den, and thought this sounds like a good idea.
I will be posting my own ad on Craigslist titled

Wait for it...

[citation][nom]roitman[/nom]I wonder how sex for rent is different from marriage?[/citation]

There's a pretty significant tax incentive for marriage.

I see nothing wrong with this. Also, I'd like to let hot landladies know I'm looking for a room and don't have any money ;)

LOL, all laws are created to punish the poor and weak.

Paying for sex is wrong but marrying a cute blond 50 years his junior is legal and tax exempt if the dude dies.

As long as it's about free will and personal choice, I see no harm in that. Even if it's a kinda of prostitution. But then... Having sex with the boss just to get promoted at work, or a music or movie contract is also prostitution. And it's done daily. It's only the honest prostitutes on the the street that want's money direct, that gets busted.

Seems to me prostitution is two people dating for a short period of time, and then one person hands the other some money as a gift right before they break up and go their separate ways. "Yes, officer. He was my boyfriend but we're not dating anymore."

I have no problem trading sex for free rent, but that's probably just because I'm a guy :p

seriously though, sounds like a good idea to me. In a way, it's kinda like trading goods for services :D

I wonder if ABC 15 tried to get in contact with these guys. They have to have some young attractive females in the office they could use as bait for an undercover story assuming the ad placer didn't request pornographic level photos.

Room for poon, wha-a-at?!
Another ad might be "spare bed for head?"
What's the next thing, ladies short with the cash and with high prices at the pump (no pun, "ass for gas"?

personally i think the goverment shoudl abolish "morality" laws tahta re directly tied to religious morals. sure prosittution is not good but i think it is bull s shit that laws dictate religious moral standings over what some one can and can't do with thier body. a good example of what's screwed up with prositition laws , would be nevada , there prositution is legal , and you don't have the drug and other crime elements mixing with the prostitution "ring" there. the facts are when you criminalize soemthing it tends to get mixed in with other criminal enterprises which makes it a dnagerous thing , however you legalize soemthing such as prostituion you eliminate the criminal element to it adn that bassicaly takes it out of the "criminal world which makes it safer for the poeple doing it (from boths ends of the market .. not to emntion eradicates teh millions of dollars of tax payer money that get's wasted on busting prostitutes every year for just doing what they want to do with thier bodies. and all that a side , giveing sex for room rent aint any where near the same as prostitution, in prostituion a girl (or guy) directly sells thier body for moeny and usually they do so to any one. sex for rent is alot more objectional and selective. and as some one else said , it could be viewed as not much different than marriage or any time a girl moves in with her, just you word things nicer by calling it marraige , or living together. BF.

Despite what you may hear Prostitution is NOT legal in nevada...Ive seen lots of people get arrested for prostitution in nevada on COPS.

And they always comment how tourist always think its legal in nevada/vegas...Its not.

I just thought I would be the one person on here to mention that trading sexual favors for cash or anything else is wrong. What they are doing is the same as prostitution, and it's never encouraging to see how our culture is slowing going down the tubes.

Slowly going down the tubes?

It wasn't until the 20th Century that prostitution became widely illegal. Before that there were many legal brothels in nearly every town around the world. They were even split into levels of price and quality. Just like we have five star restaurants down to fast food.

Now I don't go for prostitutes myself, but what someone else does is none of my business. These rooms for sex listings are nothing new. People were just less obvious saying free room and board in exchange for cleaning, cooking and other services. Often times these arrangements turn into real relationships. As it is quite difficult to keep emotions and attachments out of a relationship of two people living with each other and having intercourse.

Though if I were to go for this I would be listing three rooms for free to hot young college girls;).
