I am looking for a new laptop with a budget of around £1000. I really like the mobility of laptops, so i don't want a desktop, but it has to be able to run high end games to a decent level. For this reason, I have been looking round and so far have found this laptop: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/vortexIV-LE/
The specs I would be using in it are:
Intel i7 quad core - i7-4700MQ
16GB kingston ram
Nvidia GTX 870M
WD Black Dual Drive- 120GB SSD and 1TB hard drive

The rest of them will be on the standard settings for the product. Is this a good setup for the price and, if not, what else would you recommend? I am not too tech savvy but have been told this is a good setup. My aim is to have this laptop a good 3-4 years before needing a new one (although I understand that after about 2 years it will probably run new games on only low to medium settings) Thank you in advance for all your help!

Yeah, that is a beast of a laptop man. The 870M will run most high-end games at decent settings.
The SSD will ensure your PC boots up real quick and with 16GB of RAM and a TB of space, you could also do some editing or something also!

Good luck!
