New laptop purchase - Am I missing anything?

I am in immediate need of a new laptop for a conference I will be attending soon as well as general information security type work. I would like to keep costs down as much as possible but I am flexible with budget.

Primary use will be virtualization of multiple VM's at once and running multiple intensive programs. Other uses are normal document writing, web browsing and occasional gaming.

I have landed on the ROG Strix GL703 configured as follows for ~$1600:
i7-7700hq, 32GB ram, 480GB NVMe drive, 1TB SSHD, GTX1050, 17.3"

Can anyone tell me if this laptop has 1 or 2 ram slots? Also if it has 2 HD bays + NMVe or 1HD bay +NMVe. I'm getting contradictory information on both of these.

Finally, is there another laptop in this price range that would be better for what I am using it for? Any advice would be appreciated.

It will have at least two RAM slots, maybe even 4. Specs are good for what you are going to be using it for, price is about in line for the drive you are getting and the extra RAM with an i7 CPU. 32GB of RAM probably would add about $300 to the price.
