new Asus laptop running slow. how do i fix it???

Hi there Maja_1,

Have you tried to boot into safe mode?
If the issue persists, then I believe it may be a good idea to contact the place you got the laptop from. All of this is most probably hardware related.

If your laptop runs fine when in safe mode, then I believe the issues you are facing are software related.

You can go to Resource Monitor and see if there is high usage of some of the components. Based on that, we can perform some troubleshooting.

What is your OS?
