That is bollocks (you can censor that if you like, but, then you'd be a bit of a hypocrite, wouldn't you?).
Forcing a private company to be a global bullhorn for extremist propaganda is however undemocratic. Furthermore, these nazis and fascists simply abuse the fact that social media servers are always located on servers on distant continents, falling under different laws, meaning they won't have to worry about being prosecuted as the authorities will have to jump through too many loopholes to get confirmation on who's actually posted the hate speech in the first place.

Protection of free speech must start with the crass, the odious, the offensive, the tasteless and the profane. Why would be a need to safeguard the right-on, the anodyne, the harmless and the unexceptionable? Words are words, not even figurative weapons.

I demand the right to be able to take offence at what you say, but never the right to prevent you from saying it.

That is not what this is about. Like I said, this is about Nazis abusing the fact that criminal hate speech cannot be dealt with in a realistic manner with the current borderless internet, for the obvious reason that a European country is without jurisdiction on US soil.
Expecting European countries to adopt US laws is outright offensive to an entire continent. The reality is, if social media companies doesn't adopt, the only real solution would be to hard-split access to things like Facebook and Twitter between countries and continents. I can guarantee you, no one wants that.

Free speech exist only in your head. (for now wait till they get better mind control devices) FYI no country has true free speech not even in the USA. so unless your in the middle of a desert with no one can hear you you better watch what you say.

Serves those hate speechers right. I'm sick of reading Youtube comments and just find users brawling and threatening each other for no good reason.
