My goal is to resurrect an old Toshiba 445CDT from the last century. It was my brothers and it has been sitting for, well, decades.
It powers up and I can get into the BIOS.. It completes the memory check. But for the life of me I cannot get it to see the HDD. I even spent a few bucks on a new/used drive but still no luck.
Any hints on what to do to get it running? My goal is to maybe get a version of Linux on it if Windows refuses to load.
First I need to get the HDD running though.
Thanks.
