i got a phone from a friend dont want their account want my own how do i set back to factory w/out needing his google account for a sch-m828c

I see no reason why you can't ask him to do it for you.

Here at Tom's we won't help you bypass security of any type whatsoever.

If your "friend" gave you the phone, have him do a factory reset through the security menu in settings.
