Newegg's Biggest Fail?

I was considering getting these for my brother. He's not a techie or home theater enthusiasts at all and Polk is perfect for that demographic. I was over at his house and he had circa 2000 2.0 computer speakers playing the sound for his very nice 55" plasma.

Problem is when I went to purchase them, there is a limit of 1 per customer!!!! Who in the world is going to buy 1 tower speaker???? Newegg I thought you were better than that.

Was going to gift it to him. I have a business and personal account I can use - still silly of them. I actually was looking at it late last night and I didn't see the limit. It was a featured item in the weekend email so I'm assuming they have interns working on weekend promotions!

the limit should have been 2 (so you could buy a pair).

i'm guessing they set a limit because of the good deal however just having 1 is kind of silly you are correct.
