Nexus 5 From Playstore Question

I am wanting to buy a Nexus 5 from the Play Store, in western Canada.

I want to make sure it is compatible with Wind. I know the phone comes unlocked, but I want sure it supports the necessary bands.

I found out that Wind uses AWS, with bands 1700/2100Mhz.

I used this wiki entry: http/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AWS_devices ... And my current phone (Galaxy Nexus), and Nexus 5, are both on it.

Is it therefore safe to assume there will be no compatibility issues?

I really want to make sure the phone is usable, any additional information can be provided!

Should be fine. Might want to check with the service provider to be sure (a brief 5 minute call to avoid wasting hundreds of dollars), but if they operate on the same bands, the phone should receive data.
