No. I do believe they've stop supporting the gba stuff when the DSi came about. Dont think we'll see a GBA slot in any other nintendo handheld any more.

I'm somehow doubting this information, as local stores here still have them available in plentiful stock. They don't seem to be moving as fast as they could be. I remember the DSLite launch in 2006. It was nearly impossible to get one for a couple months afterward.

You know some companies actually plan ahead and make sure there are enough stock, because they know when paying customers make the effort to go into a shop they expect to be able to buy the damn machine and watching their friends use the machine whilst they have to wait weeks maybe months for new supplies - pisses them off!
No names.
**COUGH** Apple **COUGH**

with the launches of other systems and handhelds they DID plan ahead. nintendo always manages to ship 10x the number of launch units over sony and microsoft and still sells out. so your reasoning is not very good. the units are not seeming to sell as well as being said, but well see when official numbers come out.

[citation][nom]agnickolov[/nom]It's not surprising really. The sales numbers for past launches probably haven't been adjusted for inflation either.[/citation]
Inflation is irrelevant, the unit may cost more but as a proportion of the disposable income of the purchaser it mat well be the same kind of figures.

People tried the same to say that Avatar was the most successful film ever because of money in ticket sales, even though 10 times as many people went to see Gone With The Wind, sure tickets were a penny but that's not the point.

Forget the cost - how many actual units have been sold?

Went to SuckBuy and played with a floor model.

All it did was give me a headache and the 3d did not really add much to the experience. Screens still too low resolution and overall it just felt like a waaaaaay more expensive DSi.

Walked away after 5 minutes and it took 15 minutes for my headache to go away.

Glad the floor model was working because it helped me know for sure I will be saving my $250 for the next gen Sony handheld.

In the US Benjamin Franklin is on our $100 bill. If your actually from the US and didn't know that then you suck.

No it doesn't, it broke records but was below expectations.

From what I've heard, eventually when their marketplace is up and running, you will be able to download GBA titles to your unit. Kinda like playing N64 titles on your Wii.

Note it is just FIRST day sales... which doesn't mean much because of preorders.
