Agreed on this being the most exciting in almost 20 years. I would add that the Wii was also an exciting launch, and it was slightly after the 360. The Wii is the only console I ever pre-ordered.

I'm definitely excited for the Switch 2 as well, but how can you say 20 years without considering the Steam Deck? That is to date my favorite console of all time and was a game changer that brought some serious competition to Nintendo.

And now especially that basically 98% of all games run on it out of the box with no technical expertise required, I count it as a console as you need zero PC gaming or PC skills to play games on it, so it is essentially a console.

That said, definitely looking forward to the Switch 2 as all the Nintendo exclusives can't be beat, and the upgraded hardware should actually be a decent leap over not only the Switch 1 but even the Steam Deck!
