No Audio on TV via HDMI cable from PC

Hi, I seem to be having a few issues when trying to stream say Netflix to my TV. The picture comes through fine but there is no audio. I have been searching for a solution through Youtube and forums but to no avail. Can anybody help me with this problem?

ur video card wont handle audio and video. u can use the 2 rca to 3.5mm thing though. check if ur laptop has an spdif output. thats much better than the 3.5mm.

carsong, don't think that is the problem unless the video's hd audio driver is not installed.

Deadly Dion, is there any unknown devices or exclamation marks in device manager?
