Hey everyone, i recently got a ati 4550, it tried to integrate it sound which is hdmi, i dident have a hdm wire so i went back to my old gpu. My pc has a sound card too. So anyways since then my sound never worked. I called hp support, reinstalled drivers, recovery manager says error 10 device cannot start. there are no install output devices. When i download drivers they dont even appear in device manager. I tried switching to on board sound, still did not work. PLEASE HELP!!!! I TRIED EVERYTHING!

Pull out the sound card, re-mount it, and make sure its secure.
