No bios black screen won't boot 1005hab

Need help my asus 1005hab won't boot. Turns on power light, wifi light stays on. Hard drive comes on for about 1 second then off. Black screen no bios and no key function.

Well if the screen is black, then it may be turning on, but the display is not working.

If the device is under warranty, then I would suggest contacting the manufacturer about repair or replacement.

If it isn't under warranty, then if you feel comfortable taking it apart and running some tests on the display, power, etc., great. If not, then you may want to take it to a local tech or repair shop to look at it.
