so i just recently fixed my friends laptop, and installed windows 7 fresh, legit of course, and while installin the drivers, there was this one driver that had a very XP look to it, with a grey background and red font, and said something bout UEFI in the process of its installation, it restarted the laptop, but when it did, the laptop wouldnt boot no more, and now constantly gives me the error, No bootable device found -- press any key. I put its HDD in my own custom PC, and it works fine, i tried to install win 7 again on the hdd from the laptop, but when i boot from the USB, i still get the same error, SOMEONE SERIOUSLY HELP ME, IM DESPERATE

I love your avatar, MuzzleBraker. 😀

Do you remember what the utility was? (That's kind of important.) It kind of sounds like a Windows BIOS flash utility; maybe you updated the BIOS when you ran it, resulting in the notification you're seeing now.

Can you access the BIOS setup utility and check the boot priorities?
