No HDMI port & missing remote

I have a Kenwood vr407 (missing remote) trying to connect to Visio 65 Smart tv. Since there is no HDMI port how do i?

The TV has an optical audio output. Check the TV manual on how to use it. You may have to turn it on and turn the TV speakers off.
Connect that to an optical input on the receiver. You may have a problem setting up the receiver without the remote. Here is a link to the owners manual
