No in-built microphone

Hello,

I was trying to video chat with a friend but they can not get my sound and there is a notice that I need to unmute my microphone. When I checked the sound properties I could not find anywhere where there is a microphone, so I suspect there is no microphone installed.

May someone please help me resolve this problem.

Is this a PC or laptop?

Best bet is to buy a microphone, or a headset (all in one)
