Solved! No picture when I connect cable box to tv

My tv works until I connect cable box to tv then it starts clicking on and off and squealing

Need more details, how are they connected? Have you tried using another connection? Try another cable? Does the cable box work OK on another TV? Does another device work on the TV connection?

The cable box is good, and tv works great by itself until any type of cable is hooked up, then it starts a high pitch squealing and picture is gone and starts clicking.

Seems like you need to get the TV fixed or replaced if anything connected to it causes issues.

Did you try the TV with a different source? Did you try another cable box on the TV?
Call your cable provider. The box may be sending a voltage into the TV that could damage it. They should send a tech to check your cable and replace the box.
