No screen

have a aser aspire one , it has a blank screen will not do anything i have tried f10 f6 alt bla bla nothing any suggestions on what the heck is wrong help kids are going nuts without a computer.

When you press the power button. Do the rest of the computer components turn on?
Do you hear the fan spinning? Any lights turn on?

If you do, then I'd suggest trying to see if the screen is faulty be connecting the laptop to another monitor and seeing if it works that way.
