On sunday i got a prompt on my dell laptop from dell saying my bios had an update, so i updated my bios. then monday afternoon im watching a movie and all of a sudden the sound cuts off, i restarted my computer and it was back but then the sound went off soon after. so i updated my sound drivers and that didnt help, i made sure my windows was up to date then i tried hard resetting my computer and that didnt work the only thing i havent tried is recovery but i dont want to lose a bunch of programs so thats last resort.
