No sound in Chrome

I had no sound in Chrome, but everything was fine in I.E. I checked all settings...everything is fine. I uninstalled and re-installed Chrome, Adobe Flash and Java. Now I have no sound anywhere.
Ideas?

have you checked the volume mixer in Windows? Recent Windows versions has separate volume level for each application so it could just be that Chrome had the volume all the way down. In Windows 7, you can click on the volume icon on the taskbar, then Volume mixer to see individual app volume level.
