NO Sound in laptop

Suddenly sound of my laptop is gone
I have hp2312ax. There are no frying on mobo.
I gave it to service center but they it would cost me 7k as mobo need to be replaced .
There are no soft issues.
Is there any way i can get my sound back.

check sound in control panel, there might be something else set default as playback device.
check fn+mute button maybe you pressed it.
check device manager if there is any problem with any of your device

There is no software issue. I have installed os twice
