No Sound Out of Bass Speakers

Hey all. Recently just had a big party and I have these two Sony speakers that we used. As the music was playing and I left them under the watch of someone else, I come back to find that sound is only coming put of the smaller speakers and not the bigger, bass speakers. The volume and bass levels I left the speaker at have worked fine multiple times before, so my fear is someone turned them up higher. I have tried unscrewing the speakers and all connections look fine. Any ideas?

Whoever you left watching must have been having too good of a time. Sounds like the woofers are blown. Too loud too long.
If you want to fix them your options are to get exact replacement woofers (not likely that Sony will have replacement parts but you can try), replace the woofers with different ones (www.partsexpress.com), or get the woofers rebuilt (www.millersound.com or www.partsexpress.com).
Depending on the price of the speakers you may be better off just getting new ones.
