No sound through TV with Sony soundbar HT-CT380

Hello,

I have the Sony soundbar HT-CT380 and I have my Xbox One, PS4, and Wii U hooked up to it. It plays the audio from the consoles beautifully as it should.

However, I do not have any audio from the soundbar on my TV. For example, I don't always want to use the soundbar, like at night, and would like to hear my console's audio through my TV. However, I don't. I have tried going through the soundbar's settings to no avail.

The sound bar will not pass audio through to the TV.
You can hook up your sources directly to the TV and connect the sound bar to the TV audio output. This way you just turn off the sound bar and turn the TV volume up when you want TV audio.
