non gaming laptop that can play games

OK so i have a good rig and i'm going to a trade school so i want a laptop to take with me. the battery life should be around 3 hours 720p and just to play games like minecraft tf2 cod 4 and others such as that nothing fancy just a nice laptop any kind (preferred 15 in) that isn't too costly $600ish? also i would like to have at least 500gb of HDD that is really all

I have the HP Pavilion M6 1035-DX with an AMD A10-4600M APU inside it, and while it doesn't sound impressive specs wise, it still is a quad-core CPU with 7660G integraded graphics, and I can max out games like Minecraft, TF2, and those types of games, and even run games like Medal of Honor, BF3, Saint's Row The Third/IV on high-medium settings, at the laptop's native 1366x768 resolution, and even still for those easier to run games I can plug it into my 1080P monitor and still run it comfortably! If you can find one online or in Best Buy or something, I like mine, it was around $600 when I got it a year ago, or if you can't, find one with a similar AMD APU or something (Intel laptops have more powerful CPU's inside but weaker graphics, making it harder to play games) and you will be set!

I'd suggest one of the A8 or A10 based Laptops that run around $500-600. the on-board GPU is good enough for medium settings of most games at 1366x768

That one seems pretty good! I would advise to research a fair amount to make sure you know what you want, but that seems like a good laptop!

I'd rather pay $21 more for a new Lenovo G505s (vs refurbished) and it comes with Battlefield 4; $500.

+1 if you like BF and BF4 and don't yet own it, personally it doesn't work well on my GTX 770 and OC FX-6350, but who knows, you might luck out.
