Hey gang,
For the past few days my laptop has stopped counting time and it will either slow down or stop on a fixed time until the computer is rebooted. I manually have reset the time and date on Windows and the problem persists. Also the laptop fails to recognise there is a charger inserted. The only way to remedy this is to hard shut down the computer, take the battery and reboot. I have a feeling this all points towards the CMOS battery which in time will fail to recognise the hard drive such as other things.
Any ideas on how I could fix this?
