My daughter has a note 4 model# sm-n910a .. we have tried to put this phone on straight talk ... It seems att tower is what it is pulling from, but I do not get any mobile data and it doesn't pick up very well..please help

It is possible that you can't use the AT&T phone with Straight Talk. If AT&T was your original carrier/service provider (per the tower mentioned) this could be part of your problem.

AT&T is a GSM carrier, while Straight Talk is CDMA in some areas and GSM in others. You need to first find out if the Straight Talk in your area is GSM or CDMA. Only Straight Talk can answer that one.

Now if the phone came from a different carrier/service provider (not AT&T) that will be a factor as well. Below are links to two tutorials on here showing lists of carriers/service providers.

One more factor, the phone you are trying to use must be unlocked for it to work on a different carrier than the one you originally got it through. If it isn't unlocked, it won't work.

Should none of the above apply, then you need to talk to Straight Talk and find out why the service you are getting isn't what you are paying for.
