Notifications with a BUZZ

I opted for your notifications and I am getting them with a " BUZZ" that is intrusive and a cheap way of calling attention. Moreover I find your news not relevant to me. There seems no way of unsubscribing from this menace. Please help. Thanks. - Sankaran, India
