numbers keypad stopped working after windows 10 update for acer e5-571-35lv

Solution
It could be a few things that are causing it.

1. Check and see if the 'Num lock" key is actually on or turned off.

2. Make sure "Mouse Keys" didn't get turned on.

Mouse keys is an option in Windows that if you turned it on, the Numeric keys won’t work. Should this have gotten turned on, you will need to turn it off.

A. Go into "Control Panel" and then click "Ease of Access" or "Ease of Access Center".
B. Next click "Make the mouse easier to use".
C. On this screen make sure the box next to "Turn on Mouse Keys" isn't checked.

3. You should also check to make sure you have the latest drivers installed. Sometimes when Windows 10 updates there can be driver conflicts.
