You don't even know what Big Navi is yet and you are sentencing it to death. Is Nvidia the sponsor of this article? How about you wait until you see the cards from both sides, run benchmarks, and do a review on the numbers.

From the known facts about big Navi, (80 CUs on top end and etc) you're looking at a little above 2080 ti performance at best with high power draw... It'll be on a similar die size as RTX GPUs too...

AMD most likely got a mid tier GPU once again.

Nvidia wants to knock them out with a single punch but AMD will wear them out in a 12 round fight. AMD is not going to go for the "top spot" but rather play smartly in to the "value spot" where 95% of all GPU sales with happen. - IMO

Still all speculative answers. Benchmarks for 3000 series were hand picked by Nvidia and we don't even know the parameters of their tests. AMD is leaked information which has been wrong in the past. How about you just wait and see once you have actual numbers and facts instead of marketing numbers and leaks?

Except that we DO know what Big Navi is because it is what is going to be powering the graphics in XBox Series X and PS5, and we have seen the specs of those versions. It's not hard to extrapolate from those specs what a scaled up version with more cores would perform like, and it's not looking good for AMD. Expected performance in the best case scenario is only in the vicinity of an overclocked RTX 3070, and Big Navi will consume a lot more power. AMD is once again going to be reduced to selling their cards at bargain basement prices just to stay in the game. They are following, rather than leading.
