Nvidia GT 550m vs AMD 6750m

Hey i wanted to just ask that which one is better. I am soon going to buy a laptop which would either be the Samsung 700Z5A or the Lenovo Y470. Will I be able to play Crysis 2, Battlefield 3 and Arma II above 30fps and if so at what settings. And please do not say that build a gaming pc lalalala.

Here are the specs of the Lenovo Y470:
Intel i7-2670m
Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit
8 GB ram
750 GB harddisk
14.0" HD WLED Wedge / Resolution: 1366x768
Nvidia GT 550m 2 GB vram

Here are the specs of the Samsung 700Z5A:
Intel i5-2430m
6GB ram
750 GB harddisk
15.6" HD LED display / Resolution: 1366x768 or 1600x900
AMD 6750m 1 GB vram
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Both laptops are exactly in my budget. So which one will give 30 fps (always even in heavy action) in Crysis 2, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim and at what settings?

The higher clock of the i7 would push the 550m higher but the 6750 will do better than the 550m. I would, if I were you, wait for the y480.

But I cannot wait. And I think VRAM does not have much of a performance impact (role) at 1366x768......and at notebookcheck.net the amd 6750m performs roughly 10-20% better than the GT 550m.

I think the 6750m will play Crysis 2 on at least medium-high, Battlefield on low-medium, and Skyrim on medium-high.

The GT550m will probably play Crysis on medium, Battlefield on low and Skyrim on medium.

They are both fast middle class Laptop GPU so they are going to play games mostly on medium.

Wait for a bit b4 you buy because the new IB CPU and the Nvidia 6xx and AMD 7xxx non-rebadged GPU are about to be out.

GT650m is especially promising.

If turn AA off use FXAA through the Nvidia Control Panel and 8 AF can i run battlefield 3 everything on high and resolution 1024x768 (yeah my standards a re pretty low).
