@wysir No, the makers are pretty clear that Nymi isn't a medical device, because if it was there would be a whole other set of regulations and considerations it would have to address. The wristband isn't equipped to assess whether your heartbeat is irregular or not. There are medical devices that can do that, though.

I'm not sure this would be very reliable, but I'm pretty sure the article said other measurements such as heart sizes?
