Solved! Oculus Rift choppy

So i have this weird problem with my Oculus rift where on my computer screen everything looks fine but in the oculus headset when i turn my head its like laggy or choppy its not a smooth experience ive reached out too them and they even sent a different headset and nothings changed

my specs are
GPU:ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
PSU:CORSAIR RMx Series RM750X 750W 80 PLUS GOLD
CPU:AMD Ryzen 5 1600
RAM:GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200)

Top of my head...
- Check to make sure your Nvidia drivers are the ones for VR.
- Check the positioning of your sensors.
- Ensure there are no reflective surfaces in your area that are messing with your sensors. (mirrors, windows, etc.)

Check if ASW (Asynchronous TimeWarp) is enabled for your rift. You don't need it enabled because your GPU can definitely run VR.
