The bigger issue with this change from LG is the last few firmware updates disabled the screensaver from kicking in after 3 minutes of inactivity when using smart apps. This means that if the kids pause the TV when watching Disney+ or Netflix Kids, the burn-in protection on your expensive LG OLED, that's been a feature since their 2016 range launched, is now gone, waiting 30 mins now before activating. The screensaver now only reliably kicks in on the TV home screen. LG owners thought it was a bug at first, but the announcement of the screensaver ads show it's deliberate. Thanks LG.
