* ohms reciever pushing 400 watts per chanel into a 4 ohm speaker

Hello,
I want to know if it is possible to connect my 8 ohm 400 watts per channel X2 into my SVP-215 4ohms speakers 500 watts Program/1000 watts Peak then I would like to daisy chain from 1 of the speakers into a n0n- inductive attenuator box 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch out of the box to a stage monitor 80 watts handling Passive speaker I want to be able to control the monitor volume so a Karaoke singer can hear themselves better PLEASE ADVISE...FYI i ahve been using the AMP/SPEAKERS for a YEAR now for Karaokw with NO PROBLEMS and sounds GREAT !!!
