- Hello Everyone,

I could not be more happy to write this since my computer that I am sure many of you are tired of hearing about, I fixed it. Now, I do not want anything to happen to this computer, whether it is internet-related or anything else. I have been looking around for antivirus software and have seen the names such as Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Webroot, Malwarebytes and Norton. I honestly do not care how much I have to pay for the software, as long as it is the best, and it is NOT a scam. I want a nice antivirus software that is relatively easy to use and gets the job done. Any suggestions?

- Thanks,
Cheez

If you want to aim high spending:

Eset (stability and light weight) or Kaspersky (more bell and whistle, don't mine being from Russian and its corrupted spying Government conspiracy) and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Premium for active protection, good at detecting PUPs and blocking malicious outgoing data).

Optionals:
HitmanPro + Alert (Crypto protection and keylogger protection)
Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (Premium if you download documents from Google search)

I use Kaspersky. I like their good detection result on testing websites and being rewarded Antivirus of the Year in 2013 and tied in 2014 on av-comparatives. Has a nice looking GUI imo. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to compliment KAspersky lacking PUP detection category. The community seem to enjoy Eset more for being light weight and not causing any issue with their computer. Slightly lower detection rate to Kaspersky in testing websites but still very respectable in the high end. There is questions of how well testing websites are compare to the real world though.

Here is plenty of feedback of Bitdefender, which is not so great: http://www.amazon.com/Bitdefender-Total-Security-2015-Download/product-reviews/B00NPVPSDU/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1

Some people complain it is unstable and the renewal billing is hard to cancel or the cancellation does not work.

Other Amazon selling anti-virus to consider:
http://www.amazon.com/Kaspersky-Internet-Security-Multi-Device-Devices/dp/B00LU2XR8E/ref=zg_bs_2251987011_10 $19.99 for Internet-Security for 5 pc. Cheaper then their lower tier products.

http://www.amazon.com/ESET-Smart-Security-2015-User/dp/B00OBQ6HM4/ref=sr_1_4 ESET Smart Security - 2015 Edition - 1 User for $35 highly rated 4.9/5.0.

http://www.amazon.com/ESET-Smart-Security-2014-Edition/dp/B00EZKO566/ref=pd_sim_65_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=19RFVG0KQ06ZV6JDSG72 The 2014 version is selling cheaply for $25. It appears like Kaspersky you may use the key on any year version of the product.
