older HP camera only accepts original max 2GB SD cards...

i say max because that was the largest file size for standard at the time before the leap to sdhc.
im seeing adapters for microsd/sdhc to sd.

are these adapters compliant with the original sd card specs?
will i be able to have modern microsd/hc convenience in this adapter and will it work in my camera?

are these microsd to sd adapters allowed to be utilized in a camera that is old tech SD card compatible?

basically are the adapters backwards compatible and has anyone found a workaround to getting cameras that accept these original SD cards to have modern SD?

I believe anything above 4GB falls into the SDHC. The card (micro or regular) will be SDHC if it is 4GB or larger. Go buy old cards on E-Bay.
