older Klipsch surround sound and new Sony Bravia TV

I have an older Klipsch surround sound system I am trying to hook up to a new Sony Bravia - nothing matching up. Any ideas?

you need to be more specific if you expect an answer. we need model numbers, information, what you've tried, as much info as you think is relevant.

what television? what connections does it have? does hdmi have arc support?

what surround sound? what inputs and ouputs does it have? is it a full receiver or htib combination unit? does it have hdmi or arc support?

what other sources are you trying to connect?

what is not working - sound out from the tv to play on the surround sound or all sources?

Most common audio output from TVs is optical audio. If your HTS has an analog input you need one of these
