OnePlus 13 comes with magnetic wireless charging – but its not the kind I want

I'd rather have the slightly larger battery and the option to not have random things in my pocket stick to my phone whenever I pull it out. If they used electro magnets, then it would be cool, but until then, magnets in phones are just silly.

What a weird opinion the author has on this, and there doesn't seem to be any basis for it. I think this should always be the approach, the magnet should always be part of the case for people who want it, not in the phone. It's more effective that way (magnetism strength drops by a square of the distance, it gets weaker by the millimeter). And this way, everyone can choose if they want a magnet or not if they don't want it. It's not taking up weight and space if you don't want it in your phone!
