Onkyo TX-SR313 cuts off

lately when im watching tv (not loud or anything ) the receiver cuts off , shows a black screen and no sound , then after a second or two the receiver start showing and playing again .. like he is restarting the HDMI connection. what do i do?

Try a different HDMI cable.
Does it do this with all sources?
If it doesn't then try changing the HDMI cable from that source or a different input on the receiver.
Some Onkyo receivers have had issues with HDMI and are covered by an out of warranty free repair.

its on all the inputs. now its more frequent and it flickers on and off all the time
