Online template not available in MS 2007

I am forced to use MS 2007 in Virtual box on my iMac. MS Office refuses to access any online templates - demanding I update. Of course, the software is activated and up to date with SP3.

Update just does nothing (as usual).

Any ideas, anyone, please?

Office 2007 support ended December 2012, and there are two more versions released after that. I would not be surprised if the supporting infrastructure inside Microsoft is switched off.

You can open templates directly from Microsoft website.
