Opinion Wanted

Low post-count but I read through these forums all the time when I'm trying to troubleshoot.

Anyways, just have a quick question as I have basically narrowed down my choices for a laptop.

I am looking for probably around 2 years usage or so out of them and will be doing light video/photo editing, casual gaming albeit graphically intense ones and typical school stuff.

I almost feel kind of silly asking since the Acer seems much more statistically powerful for a relatively similar price, but am slightly concerned as to whether I should be picking the second gen i5 over the 1st gen i7..will it make that much difference?

I think the gt 555m and 5850 are pretty much on par so that will not hinder the performance regarding games/visuals etc..

My other concern is lack of USB 3.0 in the Acer, how important do you think this tech will become in the coming years?

Also, further comment on things such as customer service from the manufacturer and reliability are welcome as well.

This is in the USA, but the price is the same as the laptops you found on Canada Computers. (Fry's ships internationally.)

By the way, the links you posted are identical. You haven't posted the link to the Asus laptop.

Thanks for replying though, hope you can give me feedback on the acer, I realise the lenovo isn't that amazing, but I'd rather have the 555 over 6570 in exchange for i5-2410 vs i7 2630
