I'm sorry, but you simply do not have a clue what you are talking about. Segways comfortably go up and down hills that make accomplished bicyclists get off and push. The steepest streets in the world. Everywhere in San Francisco. They're rated at a 36% grade, but can often do more.
I have a photo I took in San Francisco, on the steepest hill I know of. In the picture is one of those signs for cars: CURB YOUR WHEELS / PREVENT RUNAWAYS. I took that picture standing on my Segway. With both hands on the camera. Without difficulty.
Why is it that so many people are so ready to INSIST this or that supposed facts about Segways (like this myth about hills, or that they're not safe in crowds, or many others), when they know nothing about them?
