My vizio tv is scanning 92 channels. 91 digital & 1 analog. I only get 50 with a tv guide. How do I get the other channels that are missing. Using OmniPro HD 8008 outdoor multi-directional antenna.

Solution
well according to your zip code on to OTA channels web site http://www.antennaweb.org/Stations?Address=89149&AntennaHeight=False&Latitude=36.2684007&Longitude=-115.2956118

says you have Up to 74 channels from 26 over-the-air stations may be received at this location.
the key words is 26 stations...
for example channel 2, will have 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 2.3 (on that web page click on a channel to get sub channel listings)

you should get approx 74 channels yes, on 26 stations. now for example in my area 77009 I should be getting Up to 132 channels from 29 over-the-air stations may be received at this location. , but reality I have 25 working channels and far from the 132 channels that actually are "channels" because many are only online a...

Yes I have a good antenna hooked up. My question was my tv is scanning 92 channels. Only 50 out of the 92 are available. How do I display the rest the rest of the channels it found?

I live in 89149 zip code. They were scanned on my vizio tv in tv mode. So I'm wondering those extra 40 channels are from a different area, would a converter box be able to display them. 91 channels are digital and 1 is analog.

what can be done... not sure to be honest, in my case it could be possibly fixed with reorientation but in your case I dont think it possible applies.

It's not unusual for a channel scan to detect more channels than can actually be viewed. Many TVs allow you to delete channels that aren't viewable. Sometimes there are intermittent channels that due to their signal strength being just at the lower limit that the TV tuner can detect come and go.
A more sensitive tuner than the one built into the TV might work. It's also likely that there will be some duplication of channels so it might not be worth the effort.
