[Other]iphone 2 as good as an iphone 4?

Hi This may be a stupid thing to ask. But If I buy an iphone 2 and save 300$ dollars Will I be able to At least watch Netflix Get skype and other stuff that the iPhone 4 does. Also will I be able to get iOS 5 on the iphone 2?

Basically I want an iPhone 4 that does everything but I'm not in a good standing with AT&T OR Verizon lol So I use a little known GSM Provider. The iPhone 2 I found is unlocked and only 119$ Saving me 300$-400$.

So what can the iPhone 3 do that the 2ng gen can't?

and what can the 4th gen do that the 2nd gen can't?
