Outlook sometimes not sending or receiving emails

Can someone please assist? Sometimes it's fine, but other times, emails I send out don't actually get sent and emails that have been sent to me are not received. It's not like there's a queue or anything that I have to refresh. I simply don't know what to do about this. Any thoughts?

I can't help you but I wanted you to know that you're not the only one. I have the exact same problem and it's annoying! if I find an answer, I'll let you know. Please do the same for me.
